Airsoft Grenades | The Tatical Advantage

Airsoft grenades are an excellent weaponry to your arsenal. Airsoft grenades are mainly used to clear a path or to eliminate a large group of enemies near by. These grenades have proven to be one of the best asset in winning an Airsoft battle. The grenades are used in skirmish to help simulate a real battle, yes you can be shooting each other all day long but throw in a Airsoft grenade in to the mix and now the games just got tougher. Imagine you team moving in for an attack, while crouching behind a bunker a grenade lands right behind you. In less then 3 seconds your group of Airsoft has just been eliminated. Now your opponents has the advantage to advance because they just took out half of your team!

Airsoft Grenade Claymore Mines

The ASC7 Airsoft Claymore mine is a special type of Airsoft grenade, it's not actually a hand grenade but in some way it does the exact function of Airsoft Hand Grenade. The ASC7 Claymore mine also comes with a wireless remote, with this style of Airsoft grenade; you have to basically set the mine in a predetrimine location. These claymore are usually set in hallways or doorways. If playing in the forest or grassy fields, some players hide them behind trees or cover them up in the bushes. These Airsoft claymore mines have two prongs that you stick into the ground to keep it in place or you can let it sit on the floor.

How these bad boy work is very simple. First you set the mine where ever you desire, preferably an area where you know the enemy will pass through. Once the mine is set, you'll have full control of the mine with a wireless controller. You are able to stay under cover and detonate the Airsoft claymore mine once an enemy has come in it path. The ASC7 Claymore mine also comes with a trip-wire for someone who like to set it and forget it.

These type of Airsoft grenade has to be the most favorite of all Airsoft grenades. Thw wireless controller keeps you from harms way and basically setup the claymore like a booby-trap!

James Boom Airsoft Grenade

The James Boom Airsoft Grenade is basically a hand grenade. This gives the player a more realistic feel of throwing a grenade into a group of enemies, but with a hand grenade your timing and throwing distance comes in to the factor.

James Boom Airsoft Grenade is an gas-powered grenade, meaning it is first filled with gas (most likely CO2), once filled with CO2 the Airsoft grenades function just like a real grenade. It has a pull pin with a trigger release. It is recommend to use the grenade with in the first hour of filling up the grenade with CO2. This keeps the pressure at a good exploding distance, after an hour some of the gas may leak out and weaken the Airsoft grenade.

This Airsoft grenade by James Boom can hold up to 72 BBs, when detonated, it makes a POPPING sound and spread the BBs in a wide angle. These Airsoft hand grenades are great for close quarters like a room or building corner.

I've save the best for last, this is the AI Airsoft Tornade Grenade. What is so special about this Airsoft grenade?

Well, first off this is not any ordinary hand grenade, this Airsoft grenade explode in a rotating distrubution of multiple shots of BBs, up to 180 6mm BBs can be shooting out of this bad boy at the rate of 100 feet per seconds!

The Airsoft Tornade Grenade is propane powered instead of CO2, it has a full 3D coverage. Not a shotgun blast or a disc distribution. A full spherical scatter.

Just make sure they are legal at the Airsoft field you are playing at. Some them, some don't. Make sure the field size is large enough to accomodate the range of a grenade. Some of these grenades produce velocities exceeding 300 FPS which can travel 50 -60 meters if unchecked by shrubery or trees. Make sure you are always on the alert when using these grenades. as in a real grenade some times they can go off early. Somtimes they go off late. This is the time to be very careful. If your grenade does not go off, cover it with something. It could be a shirt or jacket. get everyone away from it and allow it to sit for at least 30 minutes before trying to recover it. I only use flashbangs with nothing inside. It is just as effective. 75 decibels of boom. People come out of hiding. They do have a long delay though. Almost 30 seconds. Remember to allow extra time in cold weather. Always let other players know that you are using grenades. Grenades are a great asset until some one is careless. Last note, paint your firing mechanism a color so you can find it later. Good hub.
